The Artists of Great Bay Gallery welcome you to
Bridges, Boats and Things That Float: Images of
Bayside Somers Point, the project that they have
selected for the 2008 summer season.

Some 20 artists will be painting along Bay Avenue
on Sunday, May 18, 2008. The Bay front and the
Great Egg Harbor Bay with the many images that
represent the history, the environment and
commerce of our east side water boundary will be
the focus of these artists’ works.

Event Date - Sunday, May 18th All Day
This project will reflect our connections to the water and to each other – among
them bridges, piers, marina, as well as any other images that come from the
impressions and expressions of the artists. Speaking of reflections and
expressions, the Poets of Great Bay Gallery will again join the artists in their
interpretations of the theme and will read their original verses at the reception on
August 8, 2008 from 5-8 pm. The reception is free and open to the public.

Great Bay Gallery in Somers Point New Jersey
| Paintings will be available for purchase as well as note cards and limited numbered edition prints of the exhibit poster. The exhibit will open on July 23 and close on September 6. The Gallery is open Wednesday-Friday 5-8 pm and on Saturday from 5-9 pm. Come visit. We will be waiting for you.
